As a result, each of our 61 rooms is utterly unique. Some are dressed literally, with giant collars or oversized buttons, while others are inspired by the essence of an artist, time or place. Dream away in an opulent Marie Antoinette-style room where a huge dress drapes over the walls and onto the bed. Or wake up in a room based on the old fairy tale of the Emperor’s New Clothes, where nothing is what is seems…
The rooms range from one to five stars. The number of stars refers to the size of the room, the amenities, its views and location in the hotel. All rooms have been decorated with the same attention to detail, although rooms in higher star categories often have space for more daring designs. On arrival guests will be allocated a room within the booked star category. However, if you have your eye on a very specific room, we ask a surcharge of €35.*
All rooms have free WiFi, flatscreen satellite TV, and private bathrooms. Bathrooms are stocked with the indulgent Rituals bath and body range. Rather than having closets, rooms openly display hangers to best show off your clothes. Fans, hair dryers and baby cots are free of charge and available upon request.* Our 24-hour reception can assist you with booking [bicycles, tours and tickets], and with laundry service requests. Free-standing fans are available on request* in the warm summer months.
All guests have access to the common area on the second floor. Take a seat, plan your day with piles of reading material on hand, and even two sewing machines for aspiring fashionistas. A vending machine on the first floor landing offers most essentials, including toiletries, beer, wine and snacks. A tablet computer next to the vending machine provides free internet access for guests. Guests can access rooms using a combination of the lift and stairs, if you prefer not using the stairs at all please check in with us about a convenient room allocation.
